Birchardville Observatory
Site Always Under Development
When I was in grade school, I learned basic photography and darkroom skills from my dad. In high school, I was one of the frequent users of the school darkroom equipment. After my Navy service and marriage, we were too cheap to buy Christmas cards -- so we bought darkroom equipment instead. It may seem hard to believe, but an enlarger, trays, tanks, print dryer, easel and all the rest actually was "paid for" with just two years worth of Christmas cards. We still have the darkroom equipment, and the utility/laundry room has safelight, sink and so on. It was actually used a couple times since we moved here, but today digital photo work is really the way to go.

We have a Canon Rebel 35-mm SLR, Kodak DC-4800 3.1 Megapixel digital, and the adapters to interface both cameras to either telescope.
