Woodworking

Scrapbooking Desk

Linda is a scrapbooker. She goes to scrapbooking shows and collects different colors of paper -- just in case one might be needed. She needed a better place to work than the dining room table.

A few years ago, Wood Magazine issue 140, in March 2002, had a design article about a hideaway computer center. The concept looked good and it could fit into the style of our family room.

As the scrapbooking desk was moving from my shop into the family room, where I did the finishing (a lot less dust!), it was installed into its final location.

One of our grandsons volunteered to help hold the desk top in place while the glue set up. He's a few years older now -- these pictures were taken about 7 years ago!

More to come later.
