Woodworking

No blame for the Navy... this time.

My paternal grandfather was a cabinet maker and carpenter for the Pullman railcar factories in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, back before routers and belt sanders and electric screwdrivers. My dad did woodworking as a hobby (and to make things we needed) back when I was in elementary and high school, and I learned quite a bit from him.

My wife is a scrapbooker, and wanted a place to work and display her projects. Here's my solution for her.

Another couple projects involved telescope making. See the Astronomy section for details.

More to come later.

Visiting Bletchley Park, home of the WW-II Allied codebreaking establishment. We were visiting on a festival day with all sorts of special events. This trio is a Spitfire, Lancaster bomber, and Hurricane.
